Bingo Lovers mark your calendar for the 12th Annual Feather BINGO, December 8 at the Yale Sacred Heart Catholic Hall. With a Feather Bingo, all prizes have feathers hence our first prize is a frozen turkey and second prize is a chicken dinner for two. There will be a special bingo with prizes consisting of a family size turkey (1st) and chicken (2nd) dinners with all the trimmings including our famous frozen homemade apple pies. Then the final “cover all” will be a CASH prize. Everyone that BINGO’s will receive at least a frozen homemade apple pie. Any extra prizes, such as, pies and turkeys will be raffled off at the end of the bingo with our popular bingo ball raffle. All these prizes depend on the sponsors of our Feather Fund. So, HELP us make this a wonderful Feather BINGO by donating to our Feather Fund from November 16 through December 7. Any donation to our Feather Fund will be recognized with your name published at our 12th Annual Feather Bingo and at the Yale Senior Center. Donations: $1 – Sponsor a Feather for our Turkey; $5 – Sponsor a Chicken for our Coop; $10 – Sponsor a Turkey for our Pen; and $50 plus – Sponsor a Golden Egg for our Goose.

Thanksgiving Celebration on Wednesday, November 21. Must register by November 16 by calling 810-387-3720. 10:00 a.m. Penny Bingo – Bring pennies and a quarter per card. 12:00 noon Thanksgiving Dinner with extra trimmings. Everyone is welcome to bring an appetizer or dessert to pass with our delicious turkey dinner. 1:00 p.m. Hobby Horse Races – bring nickels to bid on a horse. Winners receive Nickels.

Come join a Wii Bowling Team. Bowling Tournament begins Friday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. with bowling every Monday and Friday. The bowling league will end Friday, November 30 with a bowling party at 11:00 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and last place teams. Please contact Sue at 810-387-3720 for more information.

Need crafters to help make crafts for the annual Yale Elementary Santa Shop. These crafts are purchased by the elementary students as gifts for their family and friends in December. We make no-sew snowman and perler bead magnetics which are two very simple crafts that are nice gifts. Join us on Monday, November 5 and Monday, November 19 at 12:30 p.m. and Thursday, November 1, Thursday, November 8 and Thursday, November 29 at 12:30 p.m.



13th Annual Feather BINGO. Feather BINGO is on Saturday, December 8 at the Yale Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall at 310 N. Main Street, Yale. The doors will open at 11:00 a.m. with Bingo starting at 1:00 p.m. Bingo cards are $5 per book, concessions and 50/50 raffle available. This year our first prize winners will receive a turkey and second prize will receive a basket full of goodies to make a chicken dinner for two including our homemade frozen Dutch apple pies. Our final cover all will remain a CASH Prize and everyone that BINGO’s will receive at least a frozen homemade apple pie as a consolation prize. All extra prizes remaining at the end of the day will be raffled off with the purchase of a $1 numbered chip, if your number is chosen you win a pie. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Feather BINGO this year. December 21st is the Yale Senior Center Annual Christmas Party. Our party will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a Christmas cookie exchange. Cookies can be homemade or purchased. Everyone participating will receive a mixture of at least a dozen cookies to enjoy over the holidays. Join us at noon for our annual holiday feast, everyone is welcome to bring a dessert to pass that accompanies our Christmas Lunch of Ham, green beans and potatoes. Lunch reservations must be made by Monday, December 17 by 10:00 a.m. (810) 387-3720. The final activity will be Hobby Horse Races, so bring your nickels.

Yale Elementary Santa Shop Crafts. This year the Yale Senior Center will be having a table at the Yale Elementary Santa Shop on December 13. Volunteers are needed to make crafts on December 3, December 5, December 6, December 10 and December 12 at 12:30 p.m. Help with our table at the Yale Santa Shop on December 13 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Projects will be: Snowman Craft – make a snowman from white and colorful socks. No sewing necessary. Perler Bead Key chains & Magnets.
