Free Balance & Fall Prevention Workshop on Tuesday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m. This workshop is presented by Pro-Staff of Yale. Learn about the most common causes of loss of balance, risk factors and what to do to improve your balance.
How to Frame my Diamond Paintings on Wednesday, May 8 at 1:00 p.m. With the popular question of “Why doesn’t my diamond painting fit in standard picture frames?” We decided to offer a class on how to frame your projects. We will be framing several diamond paintings using several different methods and ideas using both finished and unfinished projects.
Mystery Pound in a Purse Raffle Tickets on Sale NOW. Minimum of Ten “Pound in a Purse” raffle winners. Drawing is on May 11. Each Designer Purse has a pound of something inside. It’s a mystery but the secret will be revealed at the Mom’s Purse Event when the winning ticket is drawn. Tickets are $5 for six tickets or $1 each. Contact Yale Senior Center at 810-387-3720 to purchase your tickets, do not need to be present to win. After Gift Card Bingo, all Raffle Tickets will be drawn and the pound in every purse revealed.
Gambler’s Delight - Mom’s Purse Event - Gift Card BINGO on Saturday, May 11. Door will open at 12:00 noon. The event will start at 1:00 p.m. at the Yale Senior Center. Reservations are recommended due to limited space. $5 per person, call for additional information at 810-387-3720. This is a unique event, in one afternoon there will be three events to entertain you and your friends. There is something for everyone aged 18 years and older. Bingo will begin at 1:00 p.m. The winners will receive gift cards. Final jackpot prize is cash. By the end of the day, there will be 15 “Gift Card Bingo” winners, minimum 10 “Pound in a Purse” raffle winners and only ONE “Reverse Raffle” winner.
Reverse Raffle on May 11. Maximum of 52 tickets SOLD at $5 each. Prize is a 50/50- split. Reverse Raffle: all tickets drawn are loser’s the last remaining ticket WINS! DIY Wind Spinner: Do-It-Yourself wind spinners, easy and fun to make. Monday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m. We will make Pinwheel Wind Spinners, $4 each. On Monday, May 20 at 1:00 p.m. we will make Conch Shell Wind Spinners, $4 each.
