SEPTEMBER

Book Club will meet on September 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Main Street Grill to discuss Theo of Golden by Allen Levi. October 6 we will meet at Crossroads at 1:00 p.m. to discuss The Heir Apparent by Rebecca Armitage.

"New Tomorrows" Grief Support and Education with McLaren Hospice will meet on September 1 at 11:00 am. Session 1: Experiences of Grief.

Lunch & Lecture with Local Author Susan Tetreau on September 4 at 11:00 am. Pieces of My Father's Heart is an emotional and loving journey through rural life and how her father fought lingering trauma with love and support of family. Enjoy lunch from the Grand River Cafe.

Walking Club meets weekly on Mondays at 11:15 a.m. Join us for an approximate 1-1.5 mile walk. $1 with your membership.

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention Part 1 on Monday, September 14 and Monday, September 28 at 11:30 a.m. There is no charge for this class.

Joanne's Day with Attorney Daniel Lovell from Ironstone Law on September 15 at 11:00 a.m. This is a free class on Estate Planning.

Detroit Lions Diamond Art with Karen on September 15 at 10:00 a.m. Cost is $10.

Witch Hat Craft with Emily on September 16 at 10:00 a.m. Cost is $10.

Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser on September 17 from 3:00-10:00 p.m. The Port Huron Senior Center will receive 10% of the pre-tax food sales brought in by guests, dine-in or to-go, who show the flyer, Facebook post or mention they are there for the Dine to Donate (excluding alcoholic beverages).

Grief Support Group with Blue Water Home Care & Hospice on September 21 at 11:00 a.m.

Civil War Program & Lunch on September 22 at 11:30 a.m. Come experience the Civil War era with actors in full costumes. Reservation and payment of $20 due by September 16.

Get Creative with Clay on September 23 at 10:00 am. Join Marwood's Art Therapist Sara Sharp for a relaxing and engaging clay art session. No artistic experience is needed. Cost is $5.

Member Appreciation on September 25 at 11:00 a.m. Share a song, sing along, or simply savor the music while enjoying a root bear float. Please register by September 18.

Lakeshore Legal Aid on September 28 at 10:00 a.m. Speak with a member of Lakeshore Legal Aid one-on-one to ask legal questions.

Senior Power Day on October 30 from 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon. Complimentary breakfast for seniors, free health screenings, vaccinations and valuable information and resources for seniors in St. Clair County.

Adopt a Senior/Senior Santa - The Port Huron Senior Center is thrilled to begin preparations for the 2026 holiday season. In keeping with our cherished tradition, we adopt local seniors who could benefit from a little extra Christmas joy. We invite individuals, groups, and organizations to adopt a senior or donate towards gifts for our local seniors.
